We are finally making some beer! We have one test batch in a fermenter bubbling away and another two batches that will be created by the end of this weekend.
Our first batch, nicknamed “Grey Squirrel” is more of a test to help calibrate our system. We don’t have high hopes for this brew, but it was fun making it.
Starts with a Mill.
Moves to the Mash Tun where we take the sugars from the grain.
Using a sight glass to recirculate wort before sparging.
Sparging the Mash (rinsing grain bed to remove extra sugar)
